Itinerary
Day 1 - Fes / Ifrane / Azrou / Middle Atlas Mountains / Todra Gorges
Following breakfast, the journey from Fez to Todra Gorges commences, with a scenic route passing through Ifrane and the cedar forests of Azrou, where you may spot wild monkeys and capture the beauty of Morocco's wilderness through photographs. The itinerary also includes a stop for lunch at a charming Berber village in Zaida, followed by a drive through the picturesque landscapes of Medilt in the Atlas Mountains, and the small town of Rich. After passing through the renowned town of Imilchil, the tour concludes with an evening arrival at Toudra Gorges.
Day 2 - Todra Gorges / Erfoud / Merzouga (Camel Ride & Night In Desert)
Following breakfast, the tour continues from Toudra Gorges to Merzouga, with numerous Berber villages scattered along the route. We will pass through Tinjdad, Jorf, and Erfoud, providing glimpses of the Tafilalet Saharan oasis. After arriving in Merzouga, you will have the opportunity to relax before embarking on a camel ride through the erg Chebbi dunes. The camel ride is an incredible experience, with the tranquility of the desert creating a serene ambiance. Upon reaching the campsite, we will dismount from the camels and walk to a high sand dune to enjoy sandboarding and witness the beautiful sunset. Dinner will be served under a traditional Berber tent with live music of Berber drums.
Day 3 - Merzouga / Er Rissani / Ziz Valley / Azrou / Ifrane / Fes
Following an early sunrise, we will ride camels back to Merzouga. Upon arrival, breakfast will be served, and you will have the opportunity to freshen up before beginning the return journey to Fes. Along the way, we will stop to enjoy tea with a nomadic family before passing through the High Atlas mountains once again. Our next stop will be the town of Midelt, where we will have lunch. This mountain city is located at an altitude of 1488 meters and is situated lower down the Jbel Ayachi (3737 m). In the afternoon, we will continue our journey to the historic city of Fes.

The drive from Fes to Erg Chebbi Desert Trip is a scenic journey that takes you through various landscapes of Morocco. The route passes through the Middle Atlas Mountains, where you can stop at the Azrou Cedar Forest to see the wild monkeys. Then, you'll drive through the Sahara oasis of Tafilalet and stop in towns like Erfoud and Jorf before reaching Merzouga, the gateway to the Erg Chebbi Dunes. From there, you'll ride camels into the desert and spend the night at a desert camp. The drive back to Fes takes you through the Draa Valley and Todra Gorges, where you can take in stunning views and enjoy a tea break with a nomadic family.
